EASTERN SEABOARD LENTEN RETREAT 2006

On Saturday April 8, 2006, the Annual Diocesan Eastern Seaboard Lenten Retreat, sponsored by the National ACRY was held at the National Christian Conference Center in Phoenixville, PA. Breaking down into three age groups, the participants enjoyed a spiritually uplifting day of prayer, reflection and education. The adult presentation on the topic "The Orthodox Christian Home: Setting Our Families Free Through Truth In Christ" was led by Fr. Michael Ellis, a teen presentation on resisting peer pressure was led by Frs. Matthew Moriak and Michael Chendorain, and a children's workshop on "Christ is the Light of the World" was offered by Very Rev. Miles Zdinak. The posted photos show scenes from the day's events.

 

Retreat participants were welcomed by Tracey Bilanin, the retreat coordinator, upon their arrival at the National Christian Conference Center.
